When I stumbled across my dream job in the classified section of my newspaper, I knew it had to be too good to be true.

Turns out it was.

Becoming the nanny for the grumpiest hockey coach in the NHL was more like a nightmare.

Liam Cartright was infuriating, stubborn, and impossible. Oh, and he happened to be my new boss.

I should have signed my resignation with a giant kiss my ass the moment he opened his mouth, but I couldn’t.

I fell for his little girls before I realized it was happening, and my resolve began to weaken.

Our roles were clearly drawn out.

He was the boss, and I was the nanny.

But then we crossed a line.

I wouldn’t lose my job over a chiseled jawline and a few stolen kisses.

I couldn’t. Not when so much was at stake.

But Liam was the one who made the rule book, and I had no choice but to play by his rules.

πŸ’œReviewπŸ’œ
Liam has retired from playing hockey professionally and has transitioned into becoming a coach. Trying to balance being a single father to his two daughters and the responsibility of his career is proving to be a challenge so he decides to hire a nanny which brings Juliet into his life.

There is nothing that Juliet wouldn’t do for her Nana and that includes putting her future plans on hold to be there for her. Seeing the advertisement for a nanny position is perfect on so many levels but finding out her prospective employer is a man she met previously and whom she left a memorable if not good impression doesn’t bode well for her interview.

They both know that denying their attraction for each other is the most prudent course of action but that is easier said than done. I enjoyed seeing the relationship develop not only between Juliet and Liam but with Juliet and the girls as well. The characters are relatable, and their story is touching as they not only find love but family as well.
