BLURB
The Vegas heat just kicked up a notch with the arrival of ice hockeyâs newest expansion team â the Sin City Saints.
Maverick Hagenâs fall from grace was more like a crash landing. His record-breaking career ended after a fight with an opponent over a woman left him with a broken leg, or so the pundits thought. Returning to the sport he loves as the captain of the leagueâs new expansion team, the Sin City Saints, his lucrative contract comes with just one ruleâno romantic distractions.
Gia Ford also makes her living playing a gameâpoker. The rounder has hit her stride in Vegas, quietly building her bank account one casino at a time. Sheâs got a score to settle, and nothing will get in her wayânot even the sexy hockey player whoâs willing to lose money just to see her in action. Maverick attracts attention, upsetting Giaâs under-the-radar game. Maverick and Gia canât afford to give in to their magnetic attraction, with his career rebounding and her winnings growing. But the hotter their chemistry burns, the harder it is to deny. So will they or wonât they? In Vegas, thereâs only one way to settle itâa bet, of course.

đReviewđ
Maverick is a hockey player who allowed the lines between personal and professional to blur and the aftereffects could have destroyed his career. He is looking for a fresh start with the Sin City Saints but he has been warned that he canât repeat the mistakes of the past but there is something about Gia that wonât let him walk away.
Gia has her reasons for playing the tables in Vegas and it is for more than the money. She may be attracted to Maverick, but she isnât about to let him or anyone else divert her from her plan.
I enjoyed seeing the relationship between Gia and Maverick unfold as they realized what truly mattered in life and love and I am looking to more stories centered around the Saints.
