When Emilia first met Smith she didn’t know who he was but it was a night that she would never forget. A few days later when she finds out he is a player for the Comets where she works in PR and that fraternization between employees is strictly prohibited, they don’t pursue anything further. For the last two years they have distanced themselves from each other but that is about to change when her promotion is contingent on the player profile that she prepares about him.
Smith is the captain of the team and has focused all his attention on his career but is struggling as he realizes the end of his career may be approaching. He doesn’t allow many people close but having to spend time with Emilia is reigniting the chemistry and connection between them, but will they have to choose between their careers and each other.
The chemistry between them was off the charts and they couldn’t be more perfect for each other. It was wonderful to see Smith open himself up to the possibility of something beyond hockey and the camaraderie of their friends only makes this story better.
