Even though Luce was his brother’s girlfriend Bain was drawn to her from their first meeting and would do anything for her which includes protecting her when her husband wouldn’t and ending up in jail. When he is released, he can’t believe the way his brother has treated her but the one thing he does know is that he wants her in his life.

Luce was able to overlook a lot of her husband’s shortcomings but the one thing she couldn’t overcome is what happened after her attack. Now that Bain is back in her life the feelings for him are stronger than ever, but someone is determined to ensure that they never have their happy ever after.

The chemistry between is intense and the banter is witty, but it is the way that Bain is so supportive of Luce and loves her just the way she is that makes them so perfect together.
