Jules is trying balance school, working and being the best mother she can for her son Ethan. She has a difficult past when it comes to the men in her life so despite the feelings she is developing for Cas she believes it is best to keep him at a distance.
Cas knows that Jules is special, but she has rebuffed every effort he has made to become closer. He is determined to show her that he is the one man she can count on to be there for her and her son.
Cas is sweet and swoony so while Jules is cautious once she opens her heart to what they could have together she is all in. I enjoyed seeing the relationship unfold between Jules and Cas and it was great to see the camaraderie not just between the teammates but between the women as well.
