Nash thought that he had his life planned out as he had a career that allowed him to love and protect and he knew that he was destined to spend his life with a special someone even if he didn’t know what that was yet. One night changed everything and now everyday is a struggle as he tries to heal from the past. All he wants is to be left alone but his new neighbor is a distraction he wasn’t expecting.

Due to her past Lina wants nothing to do with love or a relationship however what would be the harm in a little fun with her neighbor. She has her own agenda and she knows that Nash wouldn’t approve but she isn’t about to let anyone talk her out of it and that is when the suspense start of the story really begins.

Lina is independent and is the perfect challenge for the protector in Nash as he slowly breaks through the walls he has built around himself. I enjoyed the growth of both these characters as well as catching up with the characters we have come to know.
