Van has been ordered to take a two month leave from his job, so he finds himself in Lake Starlight. When he meets Brin, he is drawn to her despite the fact that anything they share can only be temporary as he has a life to return to however fate has other ideas.
Brin and Van were so sweet together as he gives her the security to go after her dreams while she helps him heal from the past and catching up with the other characters we know and love is always fun. The narrators were a great choice for the characters as they brought out both the humor and emotion of this story.
