After her divorce Nyla needed to distance herself from her ex and the memories so she relocated to Oak Island for a new beginning. She has settled in nicely and is enjoying the town, her job and is beginning to develop feelings for Cohen, a man she has met.

Miles reasons for coming to Oak Island are twofold as not only is his best friend getting married, but it will allow him to see Nyla again. When he sees her again, he wants to right the wrongs of the past, but will Nyla be open to the possibilities or does her heart belong to Cohen?
