Tommaso’s sparsely decorated home was fine for him as a bachelor however with his mother coming for Christmas, he has some work to do. Trying to purchase a couch is proving to be much more difficult than he expected but it did bring Carter into his life, and he might not only be the perfect interior decorator but perfect for him as well.
When his ex ended their relationship it left Carter in a financial bind and no income. The opportunity to decorate the home of a professional hockey player is the lifeline he needs but the attraction they feel for each other wasn’t part of the plan.
Tommaso and Carter were so perfect for each other from the nicknames they had for each other, to the undeniable chemistry and how supportive they were of the challenges they were both going through. Although the circumstances are different, they both have insecurities from their past to overcome and are there for each other when it really counts. The narrators were a great choice for the characters and their personalities.
