Although Sophie has everything that money can buy, she is still trying to heal from the passing of her father. When one of his cars is stolen and the police can’t find the answers she needs she is directed to Harper Security and Jax agrees to investigate the case.
Jax was drawn to Sophie from their first meeting however he held her at a distance as he didn’t think someone like her would want to be with someone like him. When they finally acknowledge their feelings for each other the sparks fly however they are about to realize that the danger has just begun.
Intrigue and suspense combine as Jax is one of the few people who sees Sophie for the woman she is and not her lifestyle while Sophie knows what she wants in the future and that she wants to share it with Jax.
