The last thing that Dylan wants to do is spend the holidays working as an elf even if his family represents Christmas in their town. His attitude is better known for the grinch and not an elf which doesn’t bode well when he meets Lydia, a fellow elf.

Lydia has moved to town to be there for her mother and she embraces Christmas and the magic that goes along with. She doesn’t want anything to do with Dylan and his bad attitude until a snowstorm and some forced proximity allows her to see the man and not his attitude.

Dylan may not have made a good first impression but he works hard to overcome it. He is understanding about what she is going through and shows her that their romance is strong enough to transcend the holidays to happy ever after.
