Damon is a player both on and off the field but that is about to change when he receives a text six months after the fact that the night he spent with Adeline has them about to become parents. Rather than trying to find a way to avoid the situation he is determined to be the man and father that his baby deserves.
The night that Adeline spent with Damon was an unusual occurrence for her and she knew that was all they would have so she headed back to her life as a schoolteacher. When she found out she was pregnant she always planned to tell him but now he has shown up at her school looking for answers.
I enjoyed everything about this book from the way that Damon and Adeline always put their baby first to how their relationship evolved as they tried to work through their new reality. Although there was a setback along the way with the help of family and friends that was soon rectified. The narrators were a perfect choice as they brought out the sweet and swoony side of Damon and the sassy independent side of Adeline.
