Cortney is a professional baseball player who thrives on routine and tradition when it comes to preparing for his games. When the pair of socks he needs go missing he finds himself at the house that Dylan shares with her three friends and their seven children where mayhem is just part of the experience. The sparks fly between he and Dylan so when their steamy encounter leads to a pregnancy, he doesn’t hesitate to move in to be there for her.
Each woman in the house has their area of expertise and since Dylan is self employed and a single mom to her son she stays home to look after the children. Occasionally, she needs some adult time and Cortney gives her that and so much more. Finding out she was pregnant was a surprise, but it wasn’t unwelcomed especially when Cortney proves to be the man that she and her son need.
Dylan is perfect for Cortney as she grounds him when he is feeling stressed, and he is there to offer any support that he can give her and her son and they work not only as a family but as part of the bigger team that live together.
