Due to the past Remi was estranged from his father so after his passing he returns to his hometown to settle his estate and leave again. He finds himself in for a few surprises as not only has Hannah taken over his father’s business but both she and he are the heirs to the house he owns. They now find themselves spending time together and when he realizes she is being threatened he is determined to protect her and the future they could have together.

Hannah isn’t happy with Remi as not only did he leave town and the relationship he had with her family years earlier, but he wasn’t there for his father, the man she had come to care about. As they spend time together, she realizes that there was a lot about the past she didn’t know which opens her heart towards him but not only are they dealing with the complicated feelings between them and the mysterious things that are happening.

This is a heartwarming story about returning home and realizing the life that you were destined to live that has a little suspense, intriguing characters and all the feels.
