There is no denying his skills as a goalie however Xander doesn’t always make the best choices both when it comes to the games or his behavior off the ice which has led to a one-month suspension. To help repair his reputation he has agreed to help coach the children’s hockey team which is how he meets Jett and her mother Rachel.
Rachel is trying to be the best mother she can be to her five-year-old son Jett even if that means having to deal with her vindictive ex. When she meets Xander the sparks fly but it is the way he always there or her and her son that shows her that there is much more to him than his reputation.
The chemistry between them is intense and the romance is enchanting as Xander shows Rachel and Jett that he is the man they need in their lives.
