Zach is a hockey player who is trying to deal with the emotional turmoil he feels when it comes to a devastating loss. His best friend Denny has always been there for him through every up and down that he has faced but now that they are roommates he isn’t sure if friends is still enough.

Denver has always felt judged by others for the way she looks but despite that she knows her worth. When it comes to those she cares about she will do anything for them and they will do the same in return however she is cautious that exploring what she could have with Zach might be something that they may not be able to recover from if it doesn’t work out.

The feelings between Zach and Denver were always intense but seeing their friendship evolve into romantic love was heartwarming. The way they support and are there for each other only shows the depth of their feelings and makes them stronger.
