Jasmine enjoys the stories that River writes and decides that he is the perfect speaker at the book club she is part of however she can’t believe that he is unwilling to do it. His refusal only makes her more determined even if it involves persistence and a little subterfuge to convince him.
Even though he said no River can’t stop thinking about Jasmine. When she arrives at his door and refuses to leave he is determined to convince her to go on a date even if the way he goes about it becomes an experience she might not be filling to forget or forgive.
Jasmine and River were so much fun together and their banter was next level. Once they give into the feelings between them the heat between them radiates off the page.
