Annabelle is a social event planner who needs a break after her last event and where better than a cottage where she can enjoy the weather and the water.   What she didn’t expect was to find out the cabin had been double-booked and she now finds herself staying with a grumpy football player as both refuse to leave.

Callum is recovering from an injury and all he wants is to be alone however the roommate he didn’t want refuses to leave.   They lay down the rules and agree they will both stay however a decision to gatecrash a wedding and enjoy a little too much alcohol leaves them married.   He doesn’t believe it is a mistake and is determined to convince her as well.

The sparring between them was humorous, the chemistry intense and I really enjoyed how they handled everything after their impromptu marriage which only reinforced they were meant to be.   I really enjoyed the audio performance by Lexi Maynard and Brandon Utah and the only thing that would have made it better was if he had a more intense brogue.
