Laiken is a professional hockey player and single father to his daughter Elodie. He finds himself in a custody battle for his daughter so when he finds himself without a nanny he needs to get that remedied as soon as possible. His teammates sister seems like the perfect solution however between the escalating feelings between them and what she is currently go through the arrangement soon becomes complicated.
When Kia finds out that she is pregnant all she wants is to find a path forward however that becomes difficult thanks to what her ex is putting her through. Working and living with Laiken and Elodie will hopefully give her the time and space to determine her next steps especially when he suggest a marriage of convenience that will give them both what they need.
Laiken is the best of everything as he is a devoted dad, a loyal friend and teammate and when he loves he loves fiercely and that holds especially trust for Kia.
