Dom is a defenseman in the NHL who is at the top of his game when he is traded from the team he loves to a team that is struggling primarily to help a fellow player reclaim his game after his divorce but he soon realizes that there is a lot of work to be done with the entire team. When he meets Briar the feelings he has for her and her son Harley are undeniable even if she is the coach’s daughter.
Briar is a single mother to her son Harley and is dealing with an ex who does everything he can to disrupt her life. She isn’t looking for romance, but when Dom offers to help her son with hockey it allows her to see a different side of him especially when it comes to all the little things he does for her and how she can count on him to be there for her.
Harley is both adorable and all seeing and the relationship he has with both Briar and Dom will touch your heart.
