Addison is a rodeo queen who has been taught to smile and not to show how she really feels and that includes the fear she is hiding because of the threats she has been receiving. When Braxton is hired to provide security she will agree however she isn’t about to let him deter her from appearing in her scheduled events.
Braxton is a man with a tumultuous past who has made it his mission to protect others so they will never have to feel the pain that he did. He is more concerned about the danger that Addison is in then she is but he also sees everything she wants to hide and he is determined to protect her from everything and that includes herself.
Even though Addison and Braxton start out on different sides the escalating danger brings them closer and there is nothing Braxton won’t do to keep her safe and help her uncover the secrets of the past.
