Cole finds himself in a bit of predicament when his struggles on the field are proving lucrative for the person who is betting on them. This has drawn the attention of the league, and he now finds himself facing an investigation. That would be difficult enough but finding out that the woman who will be leading the investigation is the same woman he shared an unforgettable kiss with five years earlier.
Dublin knows that the job entails and that is to try and put aside her personal feelings for Cole and find out what role, if any, he played in what was going on. The circumstances that have brought Cole back into life creates a increased level of complication and tension as she finds herself conflicted between the details she has been given and the belief she canāt help having in him.
