Everleigh is very smart which hasn’t always made it easy when it comes to her relationships with others. She has loved Will for over a decade however what she didn’t tell him created a rift that has him wanting nothing to do with her. She has recently moved to his hometown for her career and him and she is willing to fight for the man she has always wanted.
Will is a firefighter who felt betrayed by what Everleigh didn’t tell him and the consequences it could have brought. Having her back in his life is not what he wanted and he is very clear about his feelings as he has enough turmoil he is dealing with and doesn’t need to add her even if she makes him feel alive in a way he has never felt before.
This is a second chance for Everleigh however it is filled with emotion as they must not only deal with the past but everything that is going on in the present as well. Everleigh is an intriguing character who only wants a place and people to call home while Will struggles to deal with his complex emotions for her and the chaos she brings into his life.
