She has no idea I’m his identical twin.
Everyone from my past thinks I was killed, and in a way, I was.

Even though Isa isn’t being forced into it she agreed to a marriage for family reasons and not for love even if she is confused by the intermittent feelings she is starting to have for DiAngelo, her best friend’s boyfriend. Just before her wedding she is kidnapped by DiAngelo only to learn that it is not him but his twin brother Elio.
Elio was kidnapped two decades earlier and has been held captive since them. He has recently been able to escape and has returned to town for business reasons when he finds out that Isa is about to marry another man and he isn’t about to let that happen however when he reunites with her he realizes their view of the past is very different and now he must show her what they meant to each other.
This is a second chance for Isa and Elio however it will not be easy. They are not the same people they used to be, and they will need to understand what tore them apart as well as well as the enemies he has created along the way as they take us on an adventure that is suspenseful and includes that a love that is felt even if it is not always remembered. James Cassidy and Melissa Barr brought out every angst filled moment and allowed you to experience the depth of their love as they try to find their way back to the life they were always meant to have.
