Collins has tried to show the town that she is not like her parents however most of them still treat her like an outsider. While answering a call for her job as a paramedic she sees Theo, the man she never expected to see again after he disappeared after the night they spent together. The timing couldn’t have been more ideal as she can now tell him about the baby they are expecting and then go their separate ways.

When Theo sees Collins again he wants to apologize for leaving her without a word and now he will get the chance. When he finds out she is pregnant all he wants is to be there for her and their baby and what begins as late night dinners turn into so much more and he is determined to show Collins that she is perfect just the way she is.
