Sam has always known his place in his family which is an afterthought as he has been told that over and over. As a result, he is a man who lives a life filled with casual relationships and fun until he needs to save his family’s vineyard. The only thing standing in his way is to claim his trust fund however that includes marriage and the only woman he can see being his wife is Lexi even if he previously destroyed their friendship.
Lexi and Sam have a past that didn’t end well and she still has questions about why. She has moved forward with her life and is now an accomplished doctor who isn’t about to turn her back on Sam but that doesn’t mean that she is willing to letting him break her heart for a second time.
Although it wasn’t without its setbacks the growth of Sam was inspiring as Lexi shows him that he is perfect just the way he is, and he learns to trust in her and their love. The turmoil is real, the romance swoony and the banter entertaining as Sam and Lexi take us on an emotional journey.
