Sutton is a successful actor who needs to take a break from the stress and demands of his career and the media attention that goes along with it. With his brother’s help he is trying to keep a low profile in Whispers however he finds himself at the diner every day unable to stay away from Nikki, the waitress he can’t stop thinking about.

Nikki is trying to keep a low profile as well as she tries to stay ahead of the danger from her past. The more time she spends with Sutton the more difficult it becomes to keep her walls up but she knows that if her past catches up with her it won’t only be herself in danger.

I really enjoyed how Sutton was patient and gave Nikki the time to learn that she could trust him and that there wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do to protect those he loved while she wanted him for the man he was and not what he could do for her. I haven’t previously had the opportunity to experience the audio performances of Duncan Cole and June Deborahae but they didn’t disappoint as they brought out all the feels of this story.

For the wellbeing of Sophie, his seven-year-old daughter, Darragh has distanced himself from mafia side of his business and is focused on his daughter and his career as a doctor. When he finds out that his twin brother, Cormac, has been arrested he isn’t about to abandon him however when he arrives to help he realizes how far his brother has fallen and instead chooses to protect Ana, the woman who is carrying his baby.

Ana is a Bratva princess who escaped being forced into a marriage she didn’t want only to find herself being held captive by Cormac when she finds out she is pregnant. Trying to escape him results in her arrest until Darragh arrives and ensures her release. He takes her to his home to protect the baby she is carrying where the feelings the develop for each other brings escalating danger to their door.

I enjoyed how protective and possessive that Darragh is when it comes to Ana and the child she carries as he claims them as his own while Ana is strong and independent as she fights for the future she wants. Greg Salinas portrays the facets of Darragh’s character both when it comes to how caring he is when it comes to those he loves and how he will do anything to keep them safe while Lexi Evans brings out the strength and resilience of Ana as she faces every challenge head on.
